Kathleen Rowan is an internationally recognized teacher, speaker, and changemaker on a mission to redefine the fertile and mothering years—not as a time of depletion, but as a season of both softness and strength, rest and resilience.
A single mother of two living in Japan, she brings lived experience and deep expertise to her work, helping women reconnect with their bodies and navigate life’s transitions with embodiment and confidence.
She is the founder of Tokyo Prenatal Center and The Beehive Membership, a global community where women find expert-led classes, movement practices, and holistic support in every stage of life.

Birthing a baby inevitably births a mother. It’s a journey of joy, grief, unraveling, and love. Motherhood stretches, awakens, and tears us down—then re-grows us, repeatedly, quietly, and without respite. The work of mothering, though often unseen, shapes the future of humanity and the planet.
